The Little Fellow Jams....

I have been feeling our rowdy little boy more and more the last couple of weeks! Zane has even been able to feel him sometimes! It is very faint and hard to notice most of the time unless I am paying attention....until Sunday! We went to church and we sang songs in the HUB with the middleschool students and as soon as the music started playing my little boy went to dancing! He calmed down during the lesson then we went to big church and started singing in there. He started moving again! All day yesterday He moved to the music even on the radio and in the evening service! Zane has always loved to sing when there is music playing and I have a feeling our little boy is already taking after his daddy! It was so amazing to stand there praising God and have the little fellow in the womb praising with us!

He also let me get a great nights sleep and I may just have music playing all day long! :)

It's a......

We got back from our cruise on Christmas Eve and spent Christmas day with my family!

We went back to the Doctor on January 10th to find out the gender of the baby. I was super nervous that the baby wouldn't cooperate and we would have to wait and find out later. The baby did cooperate very well though! The heart beat was 158 beats per minute and that was normal for them to slow down. Mike and Teresa went with us for the ultrasound. The tech let us hear the heart beat and then when she switched over to the view of the baby she knew immediately what it was! It was amazing how fast she knew! She asked if we wanted to know or to just have her write it down. We said we wanted to know and she said.....

IT'S A BOY!!!

There are lots of pictures and they all look the same to me. The view is as if you were look up though a toilet sit and you can see his bottom and legs then his boy part.

I asked the Nurse who weighs me every time how I was doing cause they never say anything about it. She said I lost 3 lbs. the beginning of my 1st trimester. By Dec 8th I had gained it back plus 3 more. Then on January 10th I weighed the same so my total weight gain so far as been 3 lbs. I was pretty excited to know I didn't gain anything on the cruise or at Christmas!

After the Ultrasound we went to Babies R Us to look around cause Zane hadn't been in there yet. We found a nursery bedding we really liked and it was being discontinued to it was clearance way down! :) So we bought it and have been finding all the parts they didn't have at the store at other stores so it is coming along. It is called Nali Jungle from Cocalo for those of you who want to look it up and see it. I will post pictures but that will be a while. Now we have to clean out the room, paint, buy baby furniture and then we can put it up! :) So for now it is in the bag in the guest room of our house!

So Long 1st Trimester....Hello Christmas Cruise!

For those of you who want to see belly shots here is one from when I first found out! It was taken on October 17th, 2011and I was 4 weeks and 3 days along.

I will post another belly shot but I didn't do a very good job at taking the pictures.

The first week of my second trimester we went on a cruise with the Roper Clan. There were 16 of us and we had a blast. Those that went: Zane and I, Mike and Teresa, Zak, Betty and Jerry (Mike's Parents), Charity (Mike's Sister) and her family (Ian, Willow, and Boone) and then Sharla (Mike's sister) and her family (Carlos, Nick, Luke, Natalie). We left Knoxville on December 16th and drove to New Orleans. Then Our Cruise left Saturday, December 17th. We had an amazing time sight seeing and spending time with family.

This was Formal night. We bought the professional picture but it doesn't scan in well so it will go in a frame.

Second Ultrasound

We went to Oklahoma for thanksgiving this year and were able to tell most of the family in person. It was great seeing everyone since it had been a couple of years since we had gone on thanksgiving.

On December 8th we got to go in and have another ultrasound. I think it was to just check measurements and we got to see the baby again! His heartbeat was 182 beats per minute this time. Everyone keeps telling me that means the baby is a girl when it has such a high heartbeat but I stayed on the boy team thinking he was going to be a boy. He looked more like a baby this time and was moving like crazy! All of these picture got creased before I could put them in my album but I did find out at the last Doctor visit they can print them off for me again so I will ask them to do that on the next one!

Had another Doctor visit on January 10th! It was the Gender Reveal! More to come on if I was right that it was a boy! :)
