So I am just going to skip all around and hopefully one day catch up. :) This past weekend we went white water rafting with our Sunday school class. It was the most adventurous trip I have made down the river. The weather was amazing, blue skies, not too hot but hot enough that it made the water feel great. We were in the red raft and they were testing it for the summer. It is a more durable raft because it has a lot more rubber on the bottom however that also means that it will stick to every rock you go over. Each time we went over a rapid our raft would stick and go flying a different direction and was hard to stay in the raft. There is a place where it is calm and everybody gets out and swims so when we got there our guide flipped the raft so we all went swimming. Then all got back in the raft to go down more rapids. We got to this one rapid and we were all paddling no big deal and our guide turns the raft and centers a rock. We sat at this rock and watched the other rafts go by they bumped us and we didn't move. We all got to the back of the raft and the raft still didn't move so our guide sends us to the front. We now are all crammed into this little area and our guide is standing on the side bouncing up and down pulling on the back of the raft. One of the other passengers looked at his wife and said I am afraid of what is going to happen when we get off this rock. We all agreed. We knew what was coming next, the raft then goes in slow motion end over end and we all tumble out and down the rapids with no raft. No one got seriously injured we all had a couple of bumps and scraps but we all got back in and headed off down the river some more. Zane got to "ride the bull" a couple of times. On the last rapid Zane was riding the bull and we were going down with no problem then we start going backward/sideways down and I look back to see why and our guide is out of the raft swimming down the rapid. So I just had to tell every one else by screaming "we don't have a guide anymore" they all thought that was the best quote of the day. This was the other raft with our Sunday School.
